The Global Innovation Hub of the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change (UGIH/UNFCCC) and the Organization for the Development of the river Senegal (OMVS) have organized a regional workshop covering the topics of innovation, finances, employment, green economy and climate resilience for the Senegal river Basin.
It took place on June 17-18, 2025 at the Diama Dam, located in the border between Senegal and Mauritania.
Dr Maria Gwynn, Senior fellow of CERC, was an invited speaker for the sessions on climate resilience and finances, bringing important contributions to the event and support for the upcoming High Level Task Force.
